The Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) is a government – run recycling program initiative used to reduce litter and encourage recycling of drink containers.
Purpose of the scheme:
- Reduce litter in public spaces
- Increase recycling
- Encourage responsible waste disposal
- Protect environment by diverting waste from landfills and waterways
- Create jobs in the recycling sector
The CDS Basket is designed for easy disposal of empty bottles and cans in parks, gardens, and other public areas. With an approximate capacity of 54 litres, it offers ample space for collection while remaining practical and easy to manage.
